For the 2nd year in a row, the Evansville Christian Eagles have advanced to the ICSAA State Final 4 by knocking off Host Columbus Christian 82-69. It was the Eagles 3rd game in about 24 hours and they played some of their best ball in a hostile environment.
Lone Senior Hunter Lindsey recorded another double double by scoring 15 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. His play was spectacular all weekend. He brought an energy and high level of play that was very contagious.
Freshmen Josiah Dunham scored 26 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and dished out 6 assists to help seal the championship. Junior Connor Sharp, Freshmen Santanna Williams, and Sophomore Jake Schnepper all landed in double figures by scoring 11, 10, and 10.
The Eagles will play Grainger Christian on Friday Night in Noblesville, In. If they win, they will play for the state title on Saturday.
